4 hours Fire Resistance
A Fire Resistance test has been conducted on behalf of Duggan Profiles Ltd. by Warrington Fire Research Centre on the 31st July 1996.
A specimen of an asymmetrical, non-loadbearing external wall assembly has been subjected to a test generally in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1987, Clause 5, to determine its fire resistance performance. The specimen had nominal overall dimensions 3035mm high by 3050mm wide by 179mm thick and comprised Plastisol coated steel lining (Proliner® 1000/32) and cladding sheets (Proclad® 1000/32) sandwiching an 80mm thick glass fibre insulation. The assembly was fixed to a perimeter framework of hollow steel sections. |
The specimen was tested with the internal face exposed to the heating conditions of the test.
The Proclad Fire Resistant System is designed to provide to non-loadbearing external wall constructions 240 minutes integrity and 15 minutes insulation performance with respect to BS 476: Part 22: 1987. The system is available in over and under rail configurations with horizontally or vertically orientated cladding sheets.
The wall assemblies have been tested and assessed by Warrington Fire Research Centre under the references WARRES No. 68353 and WFRC No. C82532. |
